SimmonsCooper is a leading law firm serving individual and corporate plaintiffs in a range of different areas. The firm is also one of the most philanthropic in the world. Recently it was recognized for having donated more than $10.5 to the Southern Illinois University Medical School to fund a cancer institute for prevention and treatment. It later donated another $3 million to the Brigham and Women's International Mesothelioma Program, to help fund research on the deadly disease. As the firm had begun to branch out its practice to serve corporate clients as well as clients internationally, SimmonsCooper realized its existing site was not scaling as it should. It also wanted a more youthful, contemporary look that would reflect the culture of the firm.

The Challenge
Collaborate with the firm on establishing a strong web identity. Build a web site to highlight disparate practices with tailored practice landing pages and robust supplementary information. Because of the rapidly changing nature of legal issues handled by the firm, the site needed the flexibility to incorporate such changes in a matter of minutes, without additional outside programming. Firmseek was also tasked with incorporating tools to assist the firm with it's search engine optimization goals.

Firmseek's Solution

• Guided the firm on creating an intuitive, yet extremely content rich, site.

• Created a site design that highlights individual practices from the home page, including practice-specific mission statements that change upon mouseover.

 
• Built practice landing pages that have customizable contact forms for each practice. Architecture incorporates supplemental pages on each practice, enabling SimmonsCooper to incorporate information that would be helpful to site visitors.

• Incorporated various editing tools for elements of the pages, other than text, that would be used by search engines to rank pages on the site.
